With over 285 million visually impaired people in the world, it is shocking that a Braille smartwatch had yet to beinvented. Thankfully for many, South Korean developer Dot has created the world’s first Braille smartwatch.

The Dot Watch connects to any smartphone via Bluetooth and then displays information using four active dynamic Braille cells. Users can receive any text from any app and send messages using the buttons on the side. Unlike any smart watch, the Dot also allows for users to develop or adapt apps for the watch.
