Every author I speak to is passionate and knowledgeable about their subject, but not every author shines as bright as Christine Louis de Canonville. I caught up to Christine on the phone this past week. She spoke to me from her home in Ireland and our chat turned from her book to her mounting popularity across the globe.
Much of Christine’s knowledge has come from her post-grad studies in Criminology and Forensic Psychology, and it is through these disciplines that she has gained her understanding of The Dark Triad, (Narcissism, Machiavellianism, and Psychopathy), better understood by health providers under the terms of the narcissist, malignant narcissist and psychopath. These Three Faces of Evil are vital information for understanding the full spectrum of narcissistic abuse. It is her vision that narcissistic abuse becomes part of the curriculum of all Mental Health Professionals and other professionals who deal with the fallout of this insidious abuse (i.e. Psychotherapists, Social Workers, Police, Doctors, Solicitors, Law Courts, HR management, etc.).
